These 1/8 DIN DPMs are designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of process line drive systems. The display has bright red 14mm high characters which are clearly visible at distance in a typical industrial environment.
The model DPM 35S is a 31/2 digit unit, the DPM 35SD has a 4 digit display.
Standard Features:
| DIN 43700 case | Plug-on screw terminals | 110/230V, 50/60Hz power |
| Custom Legend Insert | Full range scaling | Trailing digit blanking |
| Offset Control | Decimal point selectable | Over range indication |
| +/- 5 to +/- 400V range | 4-20mA loop input | Display hold facility |
| Ratio input with zero freeze | Automatic polarity sensing |
CON1 Basic Relay Interface
A basic relay interface option comprising up to two 120 volts AC plug-in, indicating signal relays which are configured as follows:
Start/Stop or Power On/Off
and
Jog or Local / Remote or Forward/ Reverse (Certain models)
This simplifies the interface between the drive and other equipment such as a PLC without a "volts free" output. Additional functionality can be added if multiple "CON1" options are specified.
SP1080D Relay Reversing Unit
This option is for use with single phase non-regenerative drives, and allows the drive to be started or reversed from either of two single pole, normally open pushbuttons (forward and reverse). Stop is initiated by a single pole, normally closed pushbutton. (The pushbuttons are not included in the option.)
The RR12 Relay Reversing Unit is in a DIN rail mounting module which interlocks with the drive zero speed sensing circuit, and uses power relays to reverse the motor armature connections. The built in power relays are rated up to 12 amps.
SP1060D Pulsetach Feedback non-reversing F/V
SP1061D Pulsetach Feedback bi-directional F/V
These units are DIN rail mounting, frequency to voltage converters which can be used to interface an encoder or a magnetic pick-up pulse tach to a drive.
The SP1060D takes a unidirectional input frequency up to 20KHz. Also the unit can be factory mounted directly on the popular model 400i drive. SP1060DMP007 is used on SL drives.
The SP1061D is for use in regenerative or reversing applications and works with a 2-channel bi-directional encoder input frequency up to 20KHz.
Specification:
- Adjustable frequency ranges: 2.0-4.5, 2.5-5.0, 5.0-10.0, 10.0-20.0KHz
- Output:
- SP1060D: 0 to 5VDC (SP1060DMP007, 0 to -5VDC)
- SP1061D: -5 to +5VDC
- Accuracy: 0.1% relative to supply volts
- Linearity, 0.3%
- Temperature range: 0-40°C
- Supply voltage: 10 to 15 volts DC (available from most Bardac Drives)
AC Tach Feedback Module (500202)
This DIN rail mounted option allows a motor mounted AC tachometer to be used as speed feedback to the drive and can only be used on non-regenerative drives. The unit accepts 10-100VAC.
SP1070D Buffer Amplifier
A DIN rail mounting, general purpose signal processing buffer amplifier card used for numerous applications including Master Reference and Signal Summing.
It incorporates:
- A linear, resettable, ramp circuit which is adjustable from 2 - 30 seconds. (Different ranges can also be configured).
- Two independent, differential amplifiers with facilities for use as:
- Unity gain follower
- Unity gain signal inverter
- Differential amplifier
- High gain differential amplifier
- Two independent summing amplifiers, each with:
- one fixed unity gain input
- one variable gain input
- variable output signal offset
- +12v & -12v reference outputs, 25mA max.
Specification:
- Amplifier outputs +/-10v at +/-10mA max.
- Power supply input, 115 or 230 volts 50/60Hz.
Standard option versions of the SP1070D are available as follows:
- SP1070S S-Ramp gentle transtitions to ramps during speed changes
- SP1070F Field Weakening Module for drives from Bardac used as field controllers
Dynamic Braking
This option quenches the drive and engages the dynamic brake resistor load whenever the stop pushbutton is operated. Once activated, braking continues until the drive speed falls to below 5%. If the forward / reverse option is also installed, the dynamic brake is also activated by the operation of the forward or reverse pushbuttons so that the drive brakes to near zero speed before reversing. The standard dynamic brake option is rated for "light" duty. This typically allows for one full load stop of 5 seconds duration every minute. Please consult the factory for different ratings.
Power Components
High Speed Fuses (line and armature), Blower Starters, incoming line Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), Operating Mechanisms, etc., are available as standard options.
Line Reactors, Drive Isolation Transformers (DITs) and Line Filters, are shown in the Power Quality section.
